In the early 1920's the Ontario & Western purchased 100 ex-URTX refrigerator cars which were quickly pressed into milk service. These cars would replace the railroads dwindling pre 1900 milk car fleet. These cars would remain in service into the early 1950's. We are so proud to be using Branchline Trains all new HO Scale URTX 40' refrigerator car model for this project.
