OWHC-33 is our thirty-third series of cars produce in the last ten years. These cars represent a group of 500 O&W hoppers that the railroad purchased used from the Westmoreland Coal Co. in 1933. These cars remained in service in large numbers through the mid 1940's and would dwindle to a scant few by 1951. Our model is being produced using the Bowser GLa two bay hopper kit. In this kit you will receive McHenry KS Couplers, A set of KD brake parts to back date the brakes (the O&W cars not upgraded to AB) and a pair of Andrew trucks which the O&W cars were fitted with.

We are producing 1000 cars, twelve different car numbers, six in the 1930's paint scheme and six in the 1940's paint
scheme as shown on the artwork above. These cars are being offered in several configurations,
a twelve pack (six of each scheme) a six pack (three of each scheme) and singles in each scheme.
